Parking lights remain on after remote unlock

When I remote unlock my 2006 Montana the parking lights remain on indefinitely unless I remote lock the van, or start it up. I cannot find anything in the user's manual that describes this condition.
Anyone know how to turn that off?

Check your headlight switch and make sure its not set to the parking light position.

They go on when I unlock it remotely. They go off when I lock it remotely or if I start it up. Otherwise they stay on indefinitely.

This is just a stab in the dark but may work,at least worth a try before sending her to the dealer. Try unplugging the battery for apx 30 min. It may need a hard reset.

Just to back up what Steelcity said, mine did this once and ran the batt down. After a jump start it has been ok since.

Oddly after months of this behaviour, the Montana no longer has this issue. For the past few days when I unlock it remotely the parking lights blink then go out, as is expected.

Weird, sticky relay ? Glad its fixed for now. Quick trade it in. Haha
