Need some help for my father in law

He is rebuilding his 63 Catalina and had a question.

Do the parking brake cables go over or under the transmission crossmember on his 63?

He doesnt have the 1963 factory Chasis Service manual while doing a rebuild? You can get one on CD from www.amesperf.com part number PW219P. If you dont want to do that try www.oldride.com and post your question.
