Hey guys me and my dad have bean working on my car it's a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire I don't where to start so I'll start from the beginning. Me and my dad put a new fuel pump in my car this winter, Now currently We put a new vacuum hose to the heater switch (vent/defrost switch) in order to do this we had the whole dash off and fixed the vacuum line. While we had the dash off we decided to check out the gauge cluster lights were not sure but we think the key switch was on when we put the gauge cluster back on. We put the dash back on, when we try to start it, only runs for 3 seconds and the gauges kind of act funky. We think it could be the pcm, computer??? Thanks for the help in advanced!

Ok Thanks, were still messing with it, we asked a few of my dad buddies and it might be a security thing so he told us to leave the switch on for like 15 mins and then try to start it.
