Does anybody know if Parisienne front seat upolstry will go over a catalina bench seat? I am talking both 1970 , best I could find was the Parisienne was the Canadian version of the catalina but used Impala interior . .. OPG sells the upholstery for Parisienne but couldn't tell me if it would fit the cat seat frame :rolleyes:
 
They only sell the Parisienne covers and are not sure it fits the same frame as the Cat , I might roll the dice and buy a front cover set :rolleyes: thanks Mel

If Ames does I do not see it in their catalog, same thing Parisienne and Grand Prix only for 1970.
 
You are correct. I was looking at '66. Regardless for the price it's cheaper to take the upholstery in and have it done...
 
Thanks guys, I got quoted 12 hundred by my local upolstry shop , kinda more than I want to spend I might try the Parisienne cover at $519 I could install it myself . .they do have the correct color just the pattern would be different . . Not that I don't like the car but I have two other cars I am working on the extra dough would help . :)
Thinking about moving the cat I really want a 71,72 gto

Yes I like that , plenty of 71,72 goats out there , a 455 ho on ebay and a few restoration projects there .. I know a local guy that has a 455 ho drive drain complete he pulled from a 72 gto he might part with it. Maybe a nice body missing a motor could be a sweet buy along with the 455 drive train. :)
 
In that case you could save money by looking for a tempest or lemans and making a GTO clone
 
I would be happy with a lemans sport with the endura nose .. I actually won a bid on ebay last summer a 71 sport endura nose 400 auto red/black the guy backed out of the sale the day before I was to drive out and get it..
