Holley Carb question

Well after doing a lot of Internet learning and reading I've decided to go with a 5.3 Chevy ls motor with a carb intake . I found one locally for 400$ it's got 140k runs great. I'm confident doing this swap just based off all the info out there and have some friends who have already done them on their cars . So wish me luck

$400 is a great price, the LS is a good choice for reducing weight and adding power.

The 5.3 can be upgraded to get some real respectable power inexpensively.

Here is a link that will stir the imagination.

Good luck with the project. just remember that poor old Pontiac will need to stop better so do not forget to upgrade the brakes.
