I am trying to figure out my uncles 2001 montana that has sometimes will rev up while sitting still at a stop or while driving, it will rev and increase speed. I only had it rev up on me to around 1300rpm but he has said it will sometimes go to 2500. When it was @ 1300 for me, the TP% read 6% even tho throttle body was fully closed. I repaired pcv hose that was leaking and causing a lean condition but that has been verified to be fixed, engine is switching from lean to rich like normal. PCV valve is very noisy, i have 2 codes, p0404 ( EGR control circuit range/performance) and p0135 (02 sensor heater circuit). Has anyone else run into this issue?
