01 Pontiac sunfire problems?

Okay this started on friday but i figured out the problem by going to autozone, it appears my TPS is going bad and needs to be replaced but the problem i'm having is i would start my car up and sometimes when i'm not in park but sitting idle or if i'm stepping on the gas lightly to move the car will die on me and my oil light and battery light will pop on.

I would then put it back in park then restart the car which it has a hard time doing, it only happens in the cold air even if i let the car warm up it just happens randomly. It's a rare thing that pops up maybe every two to three weeks but i can't figure it out

Check the mounting screws for the TPS on your throttle body. Sometimes they have tamper proof fasteners and need a special wrench. Otherwise, it's an easy job if you follow the installation instructions. Try http://www.autozone.com for parts and repair info.
