02 grand am shakes when running, engine light flashes and trac light on

Been really cold lately and Could not get my car started yesterday, would turn over but not catch. Thought I had a frozen gas line so I poured a bottle of heat in the tank. Charged battery and finally got car started. It now shakes at idle and has a violent shake in gear. Check engine light is on but will flash when trying to drive, the traction light is also which I'm not sure what that's related to. I'm scared to drive it to parts store for a scan, I don't want anything worse to happen to it. Any ideas?

you need to have it scanned to begin to figure out the problem.

Yes get it scanned to see where the misfire is. Usually misfires are igintion related, relatively simple to fix ($$). Not always tho, since a misfire could be fuel injector related ($$$) or a mechanical issue($$$$$$).

Limped it to local parts store and scan came back as multiple random misfire. Decided to just take it to the auto shop a block away and have them look at it. Ended up being the ignition control module, replaced that and now she runs perfect again. Thanks for the help.
