I know this isn't the forum but I thought you people could help. my wifes car takes a 195/60/15 tire , how much bigger can I go with them without running into trouble

I dont know how you ended up with that size but www.tirerack.com shows the stock size on the car should be 205/65x15

So even a 205/75/15 should work

It's too tall, in addition to clearance issues you will have computer issues, not reading correct vehicle speed. There should be a sticker on the drivers door jamb with the tire sizes. Not sure why you are trying to go bigger, the stock 205/65 should be fine for that car.

had a chance to buy a set of them cheap is all and my van takes 17 " tires

the 205/65 is a 25.5" tire the 205x75 is a 27" tire thats 1 1/2" taller
