I am dealing with a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire, I am not even aware if it has ABS. I'll be able to get a better look at it tonight (6/23).
I was not driving it, but here is what was mentioned...
"Check engine light came on, and brakes locked up."
They unlocked, and continued on.
Another issue with the vehicle is the ignition switch is going I believe. The turn signal indicators will flicker fast when in use, or will just stay lite up and not flash when used. I am almost thinking this may be related to it locking the brakes up, being faulty and fooling the car that the key is not in it...
The check engine light is on, and I will read the code tonight. I do not know if the ABS light even came in this vehicle as it is the base model option.
The brakes were pulsing for awhile, so I know it is probably time to replace them, but I have never had low brakes cause something like this.
If anyone has any insight or direction, all suggestions are welcome. Otherwise, I will keep this updated.
