05 engine swap-egr valve

i want to swap an engine into an 05 sunfire-my car does not have an egr valve---if i put an engine into it that has an egr valve what do i have to do with the egr--just plug it off or is it possible?

What engine are you planning on using? What year is the engine? If the only real difference is the EGR valve, you can just delete it. I would imagine you could need to have some changes made to the wiring harness, and PCM programming if there is much difference in the two engines though. I'm sure someone with more engine swapping experience will chime in though to help you.

Ecotec in a jbody never had an egr valve boys, so if your talking stright stock engine swap any 03-5 j will do.

But ya more info on what motor your wanting to use will help
