I have no operable controls on the ac/heat system. It blows only hot air. Controls stopped working after installing after market stereo with chime interface and steering wheel interface. Blower control works but, temp and position dials are unresponsive. Illumination doesn't work on same dials and ac indicator and defrost indicators don't respond. All other switches, dials and illuminations work. I'm in the process of checking all related fuses and relays. I can't help but think if those check out it would have to be the control module that died considering everything else works. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm new to the site and have been replacing parts on this car since the week the warranty expired so I will be happy to share my experiences in return. Thanks
06 Torrent AC not working

A/C but no heat
The issue that you are having could be two parts. Hopefully, it's just left off control connectors. The blend gate on the Torrent is notorious for breaking at the motor control. That problem requires taking the ENTIRE dash off and either repairing the gate or replacing it.
I would start by looking under the dash, on the passenger side, and seeing if there are two connectors hanging loose. That would be my first idea.
You'll have to remove some of the center console, which isn't too difficult.
Let me know what you find.
