08 Torrent GXP Suspension Issues

I currently have a 2008 Torrent GXP awd. Approx 84000 miles. Bought it used last year, I believe I am the 3rd owner. Since picking it up from the dealer, it has had a constant clunk/rattle/thump over road imperfections. Had the end links replaced 2 months in, and 1 month ago had the lower control arms replaced. Neither has corrected the problem. I'm at a loss. Lower control arms were replaced because the rear bushing were shot (and the techs couldn't remove them from the control arms). ANY input is appreciated.
 
the only technical service bulletin I could find was related to a steering system noise. Is the sound definitely coming from the front of the vehicle?
 
It is definitely the front. I know about the steering noise, as it is quite loud in this vehicle (bought it with the steering noise, not concerned about that at this point). I'm just frustrated that after multiple attempts at a fix (rather expensive I might add) that there is no clear cut answer/solution. The dealer felt confident they'd corrected the issue with new lower control arms, but I'm starting to think it could be the struts or strut mount.
 
I lean towards the struts/mounts also but find it strange that they had to guess whether you had bad control arm bushings, should have been obvious if they were bad. The dealer you are referring to is a GM dealer?

Absolutely a GM dealer (Chevrolet). I found it strange they weren't sure as well, considering I could clearly see the bushing were shot.
 
I have 08 Torrent needs new lower control arms.
Have purchased three sets now.
All are wrong ! Any help here?
