• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I have a 1955 Chieftain and need to know if the front end of my drive shaft will fit into a newer transmission? Either if you know or if there is a web site that has that sort of info please.

Absolutely not. The only thing you can do is take it to a shop that does driveshafts and have them weld a new end on and balance it. Usually not too expencive (2 or 3 hundred at the most, the local shop here will shorten and balance one for 150).
