• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Many of you Pontiac enthusiasts are no doubt familiar with the Club de Mer show car that GM featured at the 1956 Motorama shows around the country. My question, which no Pontiac enthusiast (however rabid) has been able to answer for me so far is this: What did the exposed headlights look like? The headlights are described as being able to "Rotate 180 degrees within their nacelles from concealed to revealed". I have never seen any photo of this car with the headlamps exposed, and the front of the car gives little or no indication of where they were even located. Within the ends of the front end? Within the silver streaks? Does anyone have a photo of this car with the headlights exposed? I have never seen one . . . yet. Thanks.

That's entirely possible . . . more than one of the famous Motorama showcars was just a "pushmobile", some with no engine or electrical system at all. It does seem strange that they would even mention a feature on the car that didn't function or even exist, but anything is possible. I am aware of the replica - I wonder how HE handled the headlight question? Thanks for the response.
