Many of you Pontiac enthusiasts are no doubt familiar with the Club de Mer show car that GM featured at the 1956 Motorama shows around the country. My question, which no Pontiac enthusiast (however rabid) has been able to answer for me so far is this: What did the exposed headlights look like? The headlights are described as being able to "Rotate 180 degrees within their nacelles from concealed to revealed". I have never seen any photo of this car with the headlamps exposed, and the front of the car gives little or no indication of where they were even located. Within the ends of the front end? Within the silver streaks? Does anyone have a photo of this car with the headlights exposed? I have never seen one . . . yet. Thanks.
