I need to know if the 59 Catalina had a 4 speed manual floor transmission as an option. I have been told by several people it was an option but I have tried googling it and nothing comes up. Please don't speculate as to whether it was or wasn't as I need to know for sure. If anyone out there either knows for sure or knows where to find that info I would really appreciate it.

Have you tried contacting www.phs-online.com to see if they have records going back to 59?
