my grandfather just "gave" me a 1966 catalina convertible for $250 (he does not believe in gifts and is 93). I think it is in good shape and am told by my aunt and uncle that live near by that the motor and trany are great and it has 83000 original miles on it. My wife pretty much only looks at dollar signs and not sentimental value. I was wanting to know for expericned people what they thought. I have loved this car since I was a kid and thought it was the neatest thing. let me know your thoughts on conditions etc...I can only attach a limted amount of photos so I tried to get good and bad. back window has been busted out and am trying to get answer on water damage. it was not garage kept but rather covered in drive

The low end dollar value is about $1,350 and the high end would be $25,300+. It looks like the paint and interior need some work. You provided though no pictures of the frame, suspension, or engine compartment. So you have to decide whether you want to keep it and invest some money in it to improve it's condition or to sell it as is and let someone else spend the bucks.
