I have a 1966 Pontiac Catalina convertible that I am restoring.
Bought it all apart.

I finally have the motor in, it starts and runs but I’m missing parts for the accelerator brackets.
Namely the one that connects to the engine to stabilize the pivot point for the main rod that connects to the carburetor.
Impossible to find this part. I have looked all over.

Any suggestions to what I can do?
Hard to fabricate a bracket, the metal has to be thick so not to bend.

Are there any aftermarket throttle cable and accelerator systems?

here is a pic of the car

year one has no listing for a catalina only gto and le mans. no listing for full size B body style.
my best bet was ames and they dont have it.
