I'm trying to find a template for the "LeMans" emblems that go on the front fenders of my 1969 Lemans. Does anyone know where I could buy one, or download one? The original holes were covered when the previous owner repainted it. However, I can see a few of the holes from the inside under the hood. So if I can get a template, I can accurately drill the rest. Thanks.

You can buy the "LeMans" emblems from www.amesperf.com and determine the hole locations from the pins on the emblem.

I've actually already purchased the emblem letters (12 pieces in all). Each letter requires 2 holes, so I'll have to drill 24 total holes. I'd really like to drill through the original holes, as those are filled with Bondo, which would be much easier to drill through than metal. I can ID a few old holes through the inside of the car, so a template would allow me to overlay it on the outside of the car, match it up with the few holes that I drill from the inside, and correctly drill the remaining holes from the outside.

so why cannt you take the emblems, lay the pins on the back of them against a piece of paper and mark the holes on the paper thus giving you a template?

Thanks, that will be "Plan B" if I can't locate a template. If I space the letters differently than the original lettering, I'll be drilling just outside of the original holes.

Sorry, thought it was a one piece emblem didnt realize it's separate letters making it more difficult.
