Where is the fuel pump located on a 1970 Pontiac Catalina 455 motor? On almost all new cars they are located inside the gas tank. I replaced quite a few. I hope I dont have to pull the gas tank out of the Catalina.
Yeah, that's old school baby! Mechanical pump. Should give you all the gas you need too, if in good working order. Not too hard to replace either. The nice thing is, no need for a fuel pressure regulator, no electricity, no fuses to blow.
