Hi, I just got a 1970 catalina. I notice there wasn't any brakes lights working and signal lights. All of the other lights work. The last owner told me somebody had broke the old column up and there son had replace it with another one. I don't know if it the wrong column or wires. I did find a 72 catalina column but don't know if it will work for the 70 catalina?

Ok, I will try that. Thanks

Fuses, brake switch, GROUNDS, are what come to mind. Mine did the same thing when I first got it and I had to change the sockets along with fuses and the brake switch. Good luck!!

Do your hazards work, front or rear? If so, that means all the wiring from the switch to the rear lights is good. If not, and you have no brake lights/rear turn signals/no hazards, then I'd start looking at the column wiring/turn signal switch, after confirming the lights themselves are ok.

Fuses ok?
