1970 GTO Repop Fenders

As there does not seem to be a supply of replacement fenders for the 70' Lemans, could one use the GTO fenders available? The only difference I can see on-Line is the side marker light holes which could easily be filled in.
Has anyone tried this?
Finding use-able used fenders is like ordering hen's teeth.

bumpers are different so there may be a problem with that area also.

The front corners are completely different. The LeMans has a wrap around bumper but the GTO has just the blended fascia. Im in the same boat looking for replacement fenders.
