1971 Lemans Sport Info

Hey all. I just picked up a 1971 Lemans Sport and am trying to identify some history about it. I see there's a plate that's attached under the hood next to the driver side of the window. What will that info tell me and where do I go to look it up? Any other useful tricks you guys can tell me to get me going on a history of the vehicle.

FYI - it's not the original motor. It has a 402 Chevy big block. It does have the original tranny though as far as I know. It's a 350 turbo.

Thanks for the reply. So, are the GTO codes the same as the Lemans codes? I don't see anything specific to the Lemans so I just want to make sure not to get my wires crossed. Great website though. Lots of info there. Thanks!

PNT=Lower Body Color(61=Sandalwood)-Upper Body Color or Fabric Color(61=Sandalwood)
000 000=Accessories Code
