Hi i have a 72 lemans with a 350 chevy 2 barrel carb. Im looking online and im curious if a P-65 dual quad intake manifold will fit a 350 chevy. Or is that only big block pontiacs

Why would you consider puting a dual quad intake on a 350 spec'd out for a single two barrel carb? Unless you are planning two build the engine to pro-srock specs, dual quad is way too much for a street engine.

You'll get much better performance out of a single four barrel carb and intake that is comperable with your cam specs and compression ratio. Plus a good set of tuned headers and dual exhaust.

Just my two cents.

Im customizing the car to my likings. I love opening the hood to see a tri power or dual carb set up. A show peice. Aswell as performence

An engine with tri-power or dual quads has to be designed from the inside out. Slapping a system like that on a small headed, low compression, low performance cammed engine will actually reduce power, you will end up with a dog of a car. You need higher compression, large valved and well flowing heads, and a mild to high performance cam. There was an old Beach Boy's song going something like "My No Go Show Boat", that is what you will end up with.

Ok that makes sense. So if i ever want a tri power set up i would need to invest in other components first

Yes, exactly.

Dilsterboy, if you want to spruce up your engine as-is, without the expense of rebuilding to high performance specs, you might consider replacing the two barrel carb with a Carter AFB. It flows around 625 cfm, it has a reputation of being a simple and very reliable carb with good street performance. You can get a sharp looking, high flow air filter for it. Mate that up with a nice, mild and torqy intake and a clean set of tuned headers - dual exhaust and you'll see and feel the performance difference.

And, if you can keep your foot from mashing the accelerator every time you start out, you will probably see better fuel mileage as well. The primaries on the Carter are smaller than the two barrel you have now. The secondaries are the ones that push you back into the seat off the stop sign.
