If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I need to know what the timing is or the firing order on the distributor or at least where number one tower for the plug wire is at . I have a clean intake like new and it is marked. but just really need to know where the number one is at on the dis:Dt.

follow the wire from the first plug on the front of the engine on the drivers side to the distributor. The order is 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 in a counter clockwise direction. On a Pontiac engine you do not have to remove the distributor to change the intake.

Provided that the engine is at Top Dead Center on cylinder 1, remove the distributor cap and look at where the rotor is pointed. This is the location to start with plug wire number 1.

Someone else can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that is the correct way to determine the starting spot.

The order is normally stamped into the intake. Mine is stamped on the intake below and in front of the carb. I have a 305 but would think the stamping / casting location is the same.
