Ok, so I went over to my dads house and he told me about a Formula Firebird that his friend has, and says the friend would be willing to sell it. The price is only $1,000 it needs full restoration as it has been sitting for atleast 10 years. It is a complete car. All glass, lights, buttons, interior....everything is there.
My question is this: How rare is the car? The car is metallic blue. It has all the TA components on it. Meaning it has the shaker hood, rear spoiler, fender vents, Firebird hood decal, Front lower air dam. It even has the (what I think are called) stone guards infront of the rear tires. Looks almost exactly like this image:
The only difference's are the hoods and the fender vents.
The Formula Firebird that I have the opportunity to purchase does not have the formula hood. It has the shaker style hood like a TA. But it has decals on the doors that say "FORMULA". Plus the fender metal emblem "Firebird".
The car is Metallic blue.
Transmission is manual.
Has shaker hood with "6.6 litre" decal.
Has all TA appearance package.
No where on the car does it say Trans Am.
Door says Formula.
Has fender vents.
Fenders say Firebird.
Firebird decal on hood.
Grill has "Firebird".
Has the brushed aluminum dash plate surrounding the guages.
