Just bought a Can Am with 39,000 original miles but it has a non original stock looking 71 455 engine. would i hurt the value by modifying or leaving it stock? It already has a 041 cam and Ram Air manifolds.

You no longer have the original engine so making more mods will not effect the value. You are sure about the 041 cam? They are not exactly friendly to stock automatics and require a decent rear end gear to perform.

Its a lunati Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 230/230 Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .490/.490 LSA/ICL: 110 very similar. I want to put a holley sniper efi system on it.

sounds like a good plan, good luck and keep us posted on your progress

Thanks has anyone removed the door hinges off of a 77 before? trying to remove the door to replace the hinge pins and the upper hinge has a spot weld on it?

You are trying to remove the door as a complete assembly?
Doesnt the hinge assembly bolt to the body and door?

got the door off from the hinge it had a tack weld on the top hinge. From the factory?

havent seen that, did you compare it to the other side?
