800HP,230MPH what is it worth? I am in process of completely restoring a 1979 Pontiac Firebird Formula with t-tops. It has a 455 cubic inch oldsmobile powerplant and a 200-4R transmission with overdrive. The trans was from monster transmission. The engine is equipped with twin turbos and intercoolers and boost is configurable from 8 to 20 psi. This is a street car and therefore has no cage, it has a full interior and a regular gas tank not a fuel cell. With the 2.41 rear end and 295/60R14 tires the car is capable of over 200mph in 4th gear at 3500 rpm. I want to know what the car will be worth when completed so I can plan my budget accordingly. I plan on selling the car as soon as it is completed in the early spring.

according to www.nada.com a stock formula with a 403 is about 13k, so depending on how good a restoration you do i would guess in the high teens to low 20s. This is more of a situation where it depends on what an individual buyer who likes the changes is willing to pay
