1984 Bonneville need some help!

I own a 1984 Pontiac Bonneville that I acquired for very cheap. It has a few issues but I have fallen in love with the body style and the crazy comfortable seats. Here are the issues;

Idles really really high (3500-4000rpm) also will accelerate by itself when In gear
Power steering is gone, no noise and fluid is full.
Reverse lights stay on no matter what gear it's in.
Windshield wipers do not work at all.
A/C not working (last on the list)
Temp Gauge is a good deal past the 260 degree mark.

The engine has great compression, 120-140psi per cylinder and It runs great and drives great. I'd like to give this old gal some TLC. Parts seem to be super cheap and so is insurance. I've attached some images of the engine and problems.
Any help with any of these issues is greatly appreciated.

1. I assume you have the 6 cylinder with a carburetor? If so did you check the linkage to see if it is binding? Did you check for a vacuum leak?
2. Check the pressure coming out of the pump.
3. Check the neutral safety switch.
4. Using a test light or voltmeter check for power to the wiper motor
5. Use gauges to determine the charge condition of the ac system
6. Disconnect the temperature sender and see if it affects the gauge

It actually has the 5.0 305. I don't hear any hissing noises at all in the engine bay. It is burning so much gas I stepped on the gas to go from a red light and the gas gauge went from half to a quarter tank.
How would I check pressure coming from the power steering pump? Is there a special tool
Motor is dead, thank you.
I have yet to find where the sender is. Thank you for your help

1. You wont necessary hear the leak, typically you look for cracked vacuum lines, spray carburetor cleaner around base of carb area and check the linkage
2. Yes a line pressure gauge is used.
3. "Motor is dead", does that mean you have power at the motor and it doesnt work?
