1984 Fiero - Looking for Fuel Vapor Canister

Hi everyone, I love my Fiero, but I'm now in need of a fuel vapor canister (or charcoal or EVAP canister).

It appears that this canister isn't available and there are no Fieros currently in the pick n pull yards.

Are there any compatible substitutes for this piece that you know of? Or do you know of any possible suppliers? We've been able to find the filter, but we need the actual canister.

We're definitely looking to see if we can substitute a different year. 1984 was the first year and it seems to be a little iffy. We did find that a Borg-Warner CP1038 is the replacement for the original Pontiac 17075840 part. However, the Borg Warner seems to be discontinued. And most searches actually turn up a SMP CP1038, which is a different part for an entirely different car.

84. Buick with a 2.5 is the same canister. There is a brand new canister on Amazon but fits GM 80's trucks with a V8.

Did you try www.row52.com ? They will email you when that model shows up in UPullit yards when you sign up for the email notifications.

Pretty sure yours is for 4 cylinders only
