1984 Fiero SE Speedometer

I currently own a 1984 Fiero SE and the Speedometer is acting all weird.

It will read "15 MPH" even when the car is turned off and not rolling, and will not change until I hit speed around "30MPH ACTUAL" and then it jumps straight to 75MPH and stays there until I slow back down below 30MPH.

This is my first fiero I have own, so I need a good base of what it could be. Thanks!

speed sensor they cost 50 to 80 dollars.

When you pull it out make sure you do it carefully and not drop the grear in your transaxle!

ok hope this solves your problem, but thats really all i could think of right off the bat that would cause your issue.
