1985 Pontiac fiero 2.5 iron duke

I have put a 2.5 iron Duke 1988 coil pack driven into my 1985 Pontiac fiero which had a 2.5 distributor driven can I get away with just rewiring my wiring harness where it went to from distributor to coil pack and do I have to change my computer need help please thank you

Did you get the engine wire harness and ecm from the 88, you need them.

I do have the wiring harness from the 88 but his was a stick shift for mine's an automatic so the wiring harness is different there I don't have the computer but I was going to buy one if I needed one I found a couple of them online they don't cost that much so I guess I'm just going to change the whole wiring harness and the computer might be easier just go ahead and find a 1988 pure with a 2.5 iron Duke that's automatic I guess you can use that wiring harness I do appreciate the information though I was hoping it was a cheaper way out of it
