I have a 1986 Fiero GT (bought new) Car has been in storage for 10 years. Car will not start , Turns over but won't start. The last time I srarted it it didn't run well! The fuel gauge is also pegged to past full.

I would think the fuel system would be suspect ..it may need to be completly cleaned ,fuel filter etc..and fresh fuel to even try to run ..
you would also need to check all connections and electricals to make sure they are operating properly ..

you also should do your oil + filter, I'd do sparks, wires, and distributor just for the sitting aspect. Also inspect your brakes before you drive the car, when sitting brakes can warp rust and in some (less likely but still) cases pads that have been sitting for that kind of time frame can crack from age.
