1986 Firebird with the 2.8L v6 engine. what it would take to put in a

bigger v6 vs v8? i'm not looking for it to be super fast or powerful, but i do want a little more than the stock 2.8l, and i don't have the money to go about buying everything i'd need for the v8 swap. what would i need to put in a bigger v6? computer, exhaust, tranny, etc.? thanks

Look around craigs list in your area. Youll be surprised what you can find. I just found a SB 350 and Turbo 350 trans from a chevell, it had an edelbrock intake manifold, Holly carb, moroso valve covers, and who knows what els inside. All for 360 bucks. Yeah youll put some money into it, but the rewards for doing it yourself is well worth it. Just piece it together one step at a time. I plan on my entire swap taking more than six months to complete and thats including all the engine work im going to have done to it. Till then Like you, im puttin around with the v6
