1988 firebird!! exaust system ?

i thinking about buying a 1988 firebird but when i drove it i found out it needs a exaust system where can i go and find out how much that will cost to see if the cars a good deal or not or if u know the price please tell me

You Need To Take It To A Mechanic First And Let Them Check The Cr Out Before You Buy It. There Coould Be More Wrong With It Than Youthink, You Need To Be On The Safe Side And Have It Checked Out.

reckon it depens on where the exhaust is leaking? can be 1000. if the manifold on back needs replaced or could be as cheep and a hundred if muffler/tailpipe needs replaced...

A new performance exhaust is probably going to be around $450

A used one from a junk yard will run you about $200ish

But it would be a good idea to buy new catalytic converters

And you can price those out at your local auto parts store.
