...trans-am gta? I own a 88 trans-am gta. it still have the tune-port fuel injection on it, its a 305 with a 400 crank-(335 stroker) the engine cuts out at about 3500 rp. when i first bought the car it ran 12.70's at 108mph. now it doesn't even want to run 13's!? i've gone through everything on the engine and can't figure it out! can anyone help?

Try hooking up a MSD 6al unit to it replace the pick up coil in the dist.

sorry to hear 'bout your problems, sounds to me like the computer is going south. If it's not in the fuel injection, then gotta be in the controler. Also, did you do the valves? (including cam)
