Ok I am just letting those who are interested know that I have started on my build and you all are invited to watch and give advice if you all could. My original plan was to do a plain v6 swap but then I said "nah." After a lot of research and craigslist ads I decided to do a v8 swap. I priced what it would run to do a v6 to v8 conversion and the price was outrageous. I heard anything from $3500 to $5000 bucks. THAT IS THE PRICE OF A DECENT 2000 Camaro/Firebird LS1 ($5000 range). So I just happened to be on Craigslist one night and saw a good looking Firebird Formula and I checked it out. A few days later I offered the guy that owned the firebird my beat up camao (that runs) for his Firebird (that doesn't run). He checked out my camaro and we had a deal. So that is the story behind the Change of heart. Just a few pics I have left when I had both camaro's. Mainly the ugly black one.

When I looked at it this Firebird Formula comes with dual exhaust, posi rearend, and the stock LT1 accessories. So IMO as a trade for that old Crappy black Camaro I came out on top.


So this is my NEW project

oh yeah a little friend that decided to show up.

Because I am a good guy and "FEARLESS" I let it live and gave him plenty of space. lol it was waaaay faster than I thought.

Nah the engine is in great condition. I have torn everything down to make sure and everything seems to be in good working condition. Thanks for watching my vids.

SN: My last 2 (most progressive) videos have horribly low views. If you all don't mind help me out by viewing my vid and leave advice. Thanks guys this stuff is hard to do and does take time to make.
