1995 Firebird 3.4L swap for a 1993 Chevy 1500 5.7L?

I was wondering if It would fit, I would assume that it will fit, but I dont want to pull my engine out and try to drop the 350 in and find out that it is too tall because of some reason, it makes no difference whether the original air tract and filter from the 350 fits, i plan on swapping it for a cool air intake (similar to this: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/details/QQChevroletQQC1500QQAiraidQQCold_Air_IntakeQQ19881995QQA86200104.html)

It will probably be too tall for the cowl panel in the fourth gen cars ...I have never seen that swap done but I have doubts weather it would be worth the effort with the different wireing and layout of the engine, you will also have to swap the trans as it is different from the V/6 models to the V/8s ...
