Hello I have a 96 firebird with 5.7 LT1 the engine runes Rich smells like gas ,smokes out the dual exhaust system has the engine misfiring now,OK installed a new fuel pump awhile back haven't driven it much sent then, started drive it sent the weather got better .ok put new vacuum canister in because awhile back could smell gas back by the fuel tank when had the old fuel pump in.did n`t help .check the fuel pressure at the injector rail has 43psi.now when I shut the car off the gauge went to 0-PSI any help would be great thanks
Check engine lights comes on says random misfire that's all .it did use have a EVAP code for like two years .change the canister now don`t have a EVAP code
