...problems? i changed the motor in my 1996 pontiac sunfire gt, it idles fine, but i noticed the tach is erractic, and when you push in the clutch and put it in gear is fine, but when you let out the clutch to take off, the tach, temp gauge quits working, and all the warning lights on the dash come on, now when u come to a stop, the lights go out and the gauges start working again, what the heck happen? have any idea what i did wrong? replaced motor,clutch, front brakes and rotors,calipers,

Probably a bad common ground...check all the wiring that may have been disturbed or moved during the engine swap and under-dash wiring...check for a loose screw or bolt holding down a ground wire.

wiring problem, someone put a stereo in it? how long ago after the motor replacement did it start doing this?
