1997 firebird 3800 high rpm stumble

i will keep that in mind., the next project after finding and fixing this problem is the prospect of a centrifugal supercharger.

I have a 99 3.8 Camaro and have the exact same problem! Its been frustrating me for a while now. I've ruled out plugs, ICM, coils, wires. I tested fuel pressure and seems a bit low (42psi idle) but not 100% sure it could be that, don't just want to run out and get a new pump without knowing.

I've been logging several rides with OBDII and nothing really stands out. When the problem happen the computer logs a few misfires on all cylinders but not many, <5 instantaneous misfires.

I do have a relatively new but generic CAT that I installed 2-3 years ago. Might be worth taking it off and seeing, should be too hard cause its held on with clamps, not welded.
