Hello all, forgive me but I am a noob. I have this 97 with 73k miles, runs very smooth but will completely shut off from time to time. Even when driving, it will shut off, no lights, just coasting. Then after a couple minutes it will start and drive smooth again. I have had this car for a year, I have replaced the battery, alternator, dealer installed fuel pump and filter, twice. For their embarrassment, they have been diagnosing my problem. They told me it was a computer, which a new one is $600, I purchased a used one on ebay, to no avail, even sent me a second one, worked for 2 days, and dies again. I was told by some that it could be the ignition module, I changed that, to no avail. Luckily I know someone at the local orielly that I can return things when they dont work, even the electrical parts. Another garage mechanic suggested the coils, has anyone here been through this? I will appreciate any responses. thanks
