1997 sunfire starts but runs crappy then dies

Hi I was driving this sunfire down the road and it died pulling into a parking lot. Now it will start but run very crappy. I ran home to get my other car and at first when I got back it seemed to run normally but after it ran a couple seconds it went back to this dying. No idea yet if there is a code because both o2 sensors are off so check engine is on all the time anyway. Any ideas of some definite things I could check before I have it towed?

I would recommend checking full fuel system and check if there are any new codes

I have got to ask why are two of your 02 sensors off? what do you mean by they are off?

With the MIL malfunction indicator light on all the time, and your O2 sensors not working the computer can never achieve closed loop.

Based on this information I suggest having your car towed, buy a service manual. do what is necessary to put the car back to stock condition.

After that we may have a snow balls chance in hell of helping you diagnose your problem.

If this is not in your budget or plans for your car, open the hood close your eyes and point at a random part. and put a new one of those on and see if that helps?
