my daughter phoned and her car has a red light beside fuel gauge, won't start. 1997 sunfire, what is this light.

send her this link to the owners manual so she can check it there are multiple lights next to the guage, look at page 2-60

It is the low coolant light, will have to go visit and check battery as now she says it will not turn over. Thanks..
