So, one morning my car wouldn't start. We took the coils and the module off and had the module checked. It passed all the tests. So we put everything back together, started it, and it ran perfect for a few days, then one morning it did the same thing; won't start. About a month or two before, there was a weird sound coming from underneath the steering wheel, and back towards the engine, that sounded like a paperclip hitting something really quickly. If that means anything to this. But it's a manual, and when we go to start it, the rpms won't move at all, they stay at zero. We though it was the crankshaft position sensor, so we replaced it. That didn't work. Any ideas?

the coils ground thru the mounting bracket usually, are you sure these is no oil/grease/corrosion on the brackets?
