problem? i have a 99 grand am and about a week ago, my car started making the clicking sound like the turn signals are on when i didnt even have them on. i would just be driving along and the stupid annoying sound of the blinkers would be clicking. then the signals stopped working altogether and the clicking stopped. so i replaced the fuse in the driver side fuse box and the signals started working again, but so did the annoying clicking when they werent even on.
then i took it to my mechanic, he replaced the flasher and it didnt do anything so i wasted 45 bucks. he said the next step is to replace the whole turn signal apparatus. but it costs 150 for the part plus labor! is there anything i can do to fix this problem without draining my bank account? the clicking is driving me crazy!
