1999 pontiac montana sliding door...

...not working? Originally it was the circuit breaker fuse. I swapped it with another fuse and it worked fine. I had to special order a new fuse. When I replaced it the door still did not work and would not work when I swapped.

However, the door slides back on its own...but not all the way...and you have to initiate it by pulling the door handle...the door open button does not open it. And it will not close.

Any ideas?

If I need to replace the motor...where is it located? How do I get to it? Where can I order the part?

if you got to order it,then its probably a dealers item,go to a pontiac dealer,and i think its inside the door.just take off the insides and probably you can see it.maybe the button is bad.before you go and order a new motor,try checking out the button.
