As the title says, 99 sunfire starts and will run for 2 seconds and stalls.
I've tried the theft reset and a new ignition cylinder.
The theft light used to blink, did the reset and now its on constant. I'v tried and retried the learning procedure, but the light simply stays on...
I've checked and it is the fuel that is the issue. It primes like it should and fires right up but then the fuel pump is cut off.

Also all dash lights are on and the tachometer doesn't work.
I've kept the car running, aying starting fluid and all lights ( Check engine, Coolant, Oil Etc...) remain illuminated.

Is this a bad PCM?

Thanks!

sounds more like a bad fuel pump, fuel pump relay, or fuel filter. Did you do a fuel pressure test?

I do not have a pressure port on my rail but I was able to disconnect the fuel line and turn the key into the on position. Gas will flow only for the first couple seconds and then quit. The relay and the fuse has been checked and replaced.

I'll try to figure out how to test the fuel pressure though.

pressure testers come with adapters to place them in the fuel line

Did you ever figure it out? Definitely start with the fuel pump. Good time to replace the fuel line if haven't in a long time.
