I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am gt. it starts just fine and runs for about 30 to 45min then stalls out, I'll let it sit for awhile then Restart it and it will still stall out after awhile. if anyone has had the same issue let me know.

do you have a check engine light on and if so what is the code? have you cleaned the iac and the throttle body? are the fuel fuel filter and air filter maintained?

No error code shows on computer. Cleaned and everything is maintained. Still having same problem.

You may have a problem with the IAC or the engine temperature sensor.

Iac

The IAC (Idle Air Control) Valve is a known weak link on these cars. Mine would start and idle perfect when the car was cold but when it would warm up it would idle terribly and would start hard and often stall. After a lot of research finally found this and ordered one off amazon for $20. I cleaned the port verry well with throttle body cleaner and a brush. It starts and idles perfectly now.

I may have a similar problem, I just posted. I had a bunch of codes show up, fixed them and the car still dies when warmed up and won't start til cooled off a bit, no spark. Starts and runs fine otherwise. If you find your solution will u post it? I will do the same. Fyi I changed the cam sensor, tps, iac, fuel filter, I know now mine is a spark issue, not fuel.
