I have a 2000 pontiac grand am se 2.4L and the right turn signal is blinking twice as fast and both the front and rear directional lights are blinking twice as fast but when I turn on my hazard light the front and rear directional lights stop blinking fast and just blink normally. So any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

with the right directional on, see how many bulbs light up both front and rear compared to the left directional, it sounds like you have a burnt out bulb on the right side .

That's what I thought but there are 3 normal blinking on the left side but then 3 fast blinking on the right side.

lights

try making sure all your lights are working properly and if they are that usually means you have a wire that has been shorted out from that signal.

There should be a sticky in the forums for cleaning and re-greasing the switch assembly on the steering column. I did it on my 2002 Grand AM and has worked flawlessly since.

this happened to my 2000 grand am after spilling coffee on the steering column, i removed the switch, took it apart and cleaned it. has been working good since.
